Throughout history, humans have used art and adornment as a way of maintaining a relationship with the earth and their spiritual lives. I am compelled to emulate these historic references, in spirit, when creating my own art. Similar to ancient and primitive cultures whose interaction with their surroundings and the creation of beautiful and powerful images are vital aspects of their spirituality, creating sculpture and jewelry is an expression of my own essence.
I am happy to announce that I soon will be teaching and creating
jewelry at Angela Gleason's new Jewelry Toolery, located at the Tannery Art Center.
The studios will be opening sometime very soon -

Suitable for both beginner and more experienced students
Jewelry techniques from beginning and beyond that will release your own creative vision. Have you been making bead and wire jewelry and feel ready to add something new to your designs? In this class we will explore jewelry techniques using mechanical and other cold fabrication.
Begins October 17 for three weeks.
